Heidi Klum Sexy

AOL just announced a content deal with Heidi Klum, the former super model behind Project Runway.

Heidi and her team will "create exclusive original programming focusing on fashion, beauty, parenting, arts and crafts, relationships and lifestyle."

AOL CEO Tim Armstrong says he's gearing the company's content around women because they – and the brand advertisers that would like to get at them – are underserved on the Internet.

Hence Heidi.

In a canned quote for AOL's press release, she says, "Women are looking for content that speaks to every part of their lives. Right now, advice seems so scattered online. I have created a place on AOL that's really one-stop-shopping: for women as moms, wives, workers, friends and their most creative selves."

Heidi content will start showing up "a few months from now," according to the release.

Heidi Klum

This morning, AOL announced a huge content partnership with supermodel Heidi Klum.

Klum is kind of a big deal.

Last year, Klum ranked #39 on Forbes' World's 100 Most Powerful Women list, sliding in a couple notches above Queen Elizabeth II.

It isn't the first time the model- turned-actor-turned-producer-turned-author-turned-designer has nabbed a top-spot on Forbes' coveted lists, either.

The well-known (former) member of Victoria Secret's Angel crew has appeared annually on the Top-Earning Model's List since 2007, raking in $14 million in 2010.

Could it have to do with her two hit television series, numerous clothing lines, her own fragrance and jewelry collection, best-selling book...OK, we could go on.

So how did the German-born beauty go from cover model to model of business?

Here's a quick a timeline of Heidi's journey to superstardom and success, proving she's not just another pretty face.

A Super(business)model Is Born: Heidi Klum enters the world on June 1, 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, a small city outside of Cologne.

via HeidiKlum.com

In the spring of 1992, Heidi wins Germany's top modeling contest, "Model 92," but passes up the offer to finish school. (The grand prize, by the way, was a three-year, $300,000 modeling contract and a car).

A few months later, Heidi graduates school, gives up her dreams to become a fashion designer, and pursues a career in modeling afterall.

Meet The Goldman Sachs Man Who Has The Best Seat On The Trading Floor (GS)

<a class=

Goldman Sachs strategist, Alan Jay Brazil, who recently published a controversial 54-page report for the firm's hedge fund clients, has one of the best seats at Goldman.

And it's not a corner office.

From Brazil's seat on Goldman's trading floor, he published a semi-secret report that suggested that European banks may need $1 trillion in capital and that U.S. small businesses, the engines of job creation, are languishing, just to name a few points he made.

But that's not why it's controversial. As a strategist on Goldman's Hedge Fund Strategies desk, he has a seat on the trading floor next to Goldman's brokers. So his opinion is informed by the trades that Goldman's clients employ Goldman traders execute.

In other words, his opinion is valuable. But it could work against you.

Goldman has a disclosure in bold letters on the top of each report that Goldman may have already traded on the information in the report. It's up to the client to figure out which side of the bet they want to be on, but if it's the one Goldman recommends, they'll set it up for you, for a fee.

Brazil was head of Goldman's Hedge Fund Marketing as of 2009. The Wall Street Journal says he works in the firm's Hedge Fund Strategies group.

Brazil develops trading strategies for hedge funds across product classes including credit, mortgages, equity, currencies and commodities, according to a profile of him on Kellogg's website

Here's what we know about him:

  • He's been working for Goldman Sachs since 1994.
  • The bank made him a managing director in 2000.
  • Brazil and his wife Jennifer are philanthropists.
  • Prior to his current post at Goldman, he was the head of mortgage and ABS research for the bank.
  • In 2002, he was part of Goldman's team that revamped mortgage valuation framework, by "adapting to the changing dynamics of the MBS marketplace." He wrote in 2002: "This groundbreaking framework represents two years of development work....This is an innovative, state-of-the-art model that we believe is without equal on Wall Street, as it is rooted in a very thorough, sophisticated and current analysis of today's MBS market. By incorporating new insights into mortgage valuations and behavior, this model offers our clients a cutting edge tool for pricing and relative value analytics for mortgage backed securities."
  • Brazil serves as a director for Grand Street Settlement --an organization that offers community-based programs for residents in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Earlier this year, Grand Street Settlement hosted an event called "Tastes of the Lower East Side."  The couple were "platinum" sponsors for the event and Goldman was an underwriter meaning the bank donated $25,000. (Download PDF)
  • He lost 20 lbs with Heidi Klum's trainer in the early 2000s

To help him lose some lbs. in the early 2000s, Brazil's wife gave him gift of one-on-one training sessions with renowned fitness trainer David Kirsch, whose clients have included Heidi Klum and Invanka Trump.

Here's what Brazil said about his workout experience:

"Working out with a personal trainer was not my idea of exercising, but then again I was never able to stay with any exercise program despite having been a member of the various big name gyms over the years....As a result, I've lost 20 lbs. and exchanged fat for muscle in only six months of working out with him. Summer will no longer be a traumatic experience! Both my wife and I have joined."

Brazil might also be a Republican.  He donated to John McCain's presidential campaign back in March 2007.  He's also made political contributions to The Goldman Sachs Political Action Committee.

Bob Kelly, the recently fired CEO of BNY Mellon, could receive up to $36.6 million in cash, stock, and continued benefits.

The SEC charged hedge fund manager James Turner II and Clay Capital Management in $3.9 million insider trading case.

BlueCrest Capital Management's flagship fund rose slightly returning less than 2% in the first half of the year.

Dan Loeb's Third Point is up 3.9% YTD.

David Einhorn is down 5.3% YTD.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York named Glenn Hutchins, co-chief executive of private equity firm Silver Lake and one of Clusterstock's "Top 50 Most Valuable Players on Wall Street", a director.

The SEC charged hedge fund manager James Turner II and Clay Capital Management in $3.9 million insider trading case.

Alan Brazil, Goldman's hedge fund strategist who published that controversial report basically saying the economy was going to hell in a handbasket, uses the same fitness trainer as Heidi Klum.

The Federal Reserve Board announced a formal enforcement action against Goldman Sachs, requiring it to address its foreclosure practices.

Craig Drimal, a former Galleon trader, was sentenced to 5 1/2 years prison for his role in the largest insider trading scandal in history.

Eileen Rominger, the retired global CIO for Goldman Global Asset Management who now works for the SEC, disclosed that she made $57.5 million last year.

Bank of New York Mellon fired it's chief executive Robert Kelly yesterday because he had an "abrasive" management style, which lowered company morale.

In 2010, Robert Kelly took home $19.4 million. That year BNY Mellon claimed a $670 million federal tax refund, despite $2.4 billion in U.S. pre-tax income, a report showed.

Greenlight Capital's David Einhorn is annoyed that the media keeps reporting he's 43 since he's much younger than that.  He doesn't turn 43 until November.

The Mets-Einhorn deal is dead.

Secret phone recordings have caught Italy's prime minister Berlusconi saying  "I' don't give a F***, Italy makes me feel like puking."

heidi klum halloween costume

Halloweekend is upon us, and nobody does it better than the celebs. They go to the swankest parties, so naturally they have the best costumes.

Heidi Klum is perhaps the most fantastic of them all.

Every year she throws the biggest bash and every year her getup seems to be more elaborate than the year before.

In 2008, she dressed as the Hindu goddess Kali -- and, of course, she pulled it off.

Us Weekly got the exclusive on Klum's outfit for this year, and though it's not finished yet, it's going to be another banner year for her.

Katie Couric and Matt Lauer looked great on "Today" in 2004 as Donald Trump and Paris Hilton, respectively.

Teri Hatcher's Queen of Hearts costume was perfect- her lips made the look. She donned the outfit for a 2007 Halloween benefit.

Pink made a really cool clown in 2008. She party hopped from Bette Midler's annual Hulaween to Heidi Klum's party.

It was a great show (we hear), but it also made us miss one of our favorite and arguably most famous angels: Heidi Klum.

The Most Expensive Celebrity Divorces In Hollywood

$

Kim-Kardashian, Kris-Humphries

It seems in Hollywood nothing is as perfect and glossy as it appears from the outside—including marriage.

Today Hollywood marriages often imply a whirlwind romance, lavish wedding ceremony, and quickie divorce. (Kim Kardashian, anyone?)

Actor/comedian Robin Williams once said, "Ah yes, divorce ... from the Latin word meaning to rip out a man's genitals through his wallet." Williams' two high-profile divorces cost him over $20 million, causing him to be quite the cynic about divorce proceedings.

As we saw with Heidi Klum and Seal's separation, a once amicable separation can quickly turn into a vicious and prolonged battle at the mere mention of money. It is reported that Seal is now after half of Heidi's hard earned $70 million fortune.

$70 Million fortune in jeopardy: Heidi Klum and Seal

Their 2012 break up was initially amicable, supermodel Heidi Klum filed for divorce from singer Seal, her husband of seven years. But since then, the divorce has become bitter and Seal, who is worth around $15 million, is reportedly after half of Heidi's $70 million fortune.

$45 Million: Michael Douglas and Diandra Douglas

When Michael Douglas was just a 19-year-old struggling actor, he met Georgetown student Diandra Luker at a Jimmy Carter inauguration party in 1977. Six weeks later, the new couple wed.

21 years after the couple tied the knot and after Douglas rose to worldwide fame, Douglas and Luker divorced. She got to keep $45 million, and a home in both Beverly Hills and Majorca.

Douglas wed actress Catherine Zeta-Jones in 2000.

$48.6 Million: Paul McCartney and Heather Mills

The 2008 divorce between Heather Mills and ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney awarded the former model $48.6 million. It pays to be powerful—this figure was $201 million less than what the former model asked for.

Supermodel Heidi Klum On How Kids Actually Care About Fashion

Heidi Klum

Project Runway's supermodel host Heidi Klum has launched an exclusive collection for Babies "R" Us called Truly Scrumptious, which will be available on September 15th.

It includes children's clothes, toys, strollers and furniture.

But do kids actually care about what they're wearing? After all, they're just carefree children, right?

Elizabeth Holmes at the Wall Street Journal spoke with Klum. Here's what she had to say on the topic:

"It depends on what you, as a mom, put your children in or what they are exposed to. If they don’t have a lot, then they just won’t know. But I feel like if it is affordable and you can show them what is out in the world, why not? My kids have always been exposed to fashion in the world. They see things and they’re like, “Oh my gosh, I want that.”

It’s the same with food. They love eating yellowtail jalapeño and some other children they will only eat noodles without sauce. We don’t have noodles without sauce. There’s either a Bolognese on there or a tomato sauce. Some kids, I see it when they come to our house, they will only eat certain things and that’s it.  It’s the same with clothes."

HEIDI KLUM: Young Models Need To Be Careful — Photographers Often Try To Get You To Take Off Everything

heidi klum

Fashion modeling is a high-pressure gig. People are always trying to push you to do more, and often, bare more.

Even Heidi Klum, who has had a more fulfilling career than almost any other model out there, has to deal with it. She's not shy about going nude, but always tried to keep it as classy as she can.

In a revealing interview with Ocean Drive, Klum talked about dealing with photographers that kept telling her to take things off.

"When you have a good body, photographers will often be like, “Yeah, let’s take this off, and why don’t we lose this too,” and you can quickly end up not wearing much clothing. You have to be careful and strong at saying no, especially when you’re younger and on your own.

Not everyone is cool and has your best interest [at heart]. But [renowned British photographer] Rankin has always made sure, when some of my shoots would be more on the naked side, that they wouldn’t look raunchy. They were sexy, yes, but very classy."

"We can't say we've seen the mother of four in any photo shoot that was less than classy, but we're sure it takes quite a good head on your shoulders to maintain your sense of self in an industry with few boundaries,"wrote Rebecca Adams at The Huffington Post.

And she's right. If Klum — someone who's reached the pinnacle of the modeling industry — still has to deal with this, we can't imagine what it's like for an up-and-comer.

Heidi Klum is the new Carl's Jr. girl — joining the ranks of Kate Upton, Padma Lakshmi, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton.

Rather than go with its usual ad strategy, by showing Klum gyrating on the beach with a burger, ad agency 72andSunny decided to recreate "The Graduate."

Klum plays Mrs. Robinson, of course, and seductively offers a younger man a Jim Bean Bourbon ... burger.

The commercial's a little cheesy, but what do you think?

"Germany's Next Top Model" had quite the dramatic finish during its Thursday night finale.

For reasons still unknown, two topless young women ambushed host Heidi Klum, running up onstage with their arms up and the words "Heidi Horror Picture Show" written on their upper bodies.

It all happened after Heidi Klum (on stilts) kissed this robot.

Topless Protestors Reveal Why They Ambushed Heidi Klum's 'Top Model' Finale

Heidi Klum topless protestor

On Thursday, topless protestors stormed the stage during the finale of Heidi Klum's "Germany's Next Top Model."

No one knew exactly why the two young women interrupted the show to display their chests inscribed with "Heidi Horror Picture Show."

But now, the women  known as "FEMEN" — have taken to their (NSFW) Facebook page to explain their actions and post further photos and video from the nude protest.

In the post, the women write that they ambushed the "Germany's Next Top Model" stage because they feel "The program format is pimp-show where world-famous supermodel Heidi Klum plays the role of 'mom' and forms a bevy of underage girls to fashion-fools."

The post goes on to say, "FEMEN regards the fashion industry as an element of pimp business and has consistently opposed the commercialization of the female body."

Because, they write, women in the fashion business are "Fooled by fashion propoganda, failed by fashion models, women regularly join the ranks of sex workers, and psychiatric patients. Stop the fashion business! Stop Prostitution!"

Here's The Naked 'Project Runway' Billboard That Was Banned In LA

Heidi Klum may be Queen in the land of Lifetime's "Project Runway," but the city of Los Angeles has ruled that the supermodel's billboard promos for the show's upcoming 12th season be banned.

"The photo was set to run on billboards, posters, websites, bus shelters and in magazines, but the nude bodies were just a little too risque for the public in L.A.,"reports TooFab. "So a version with underwear will run in its place. "

New York, however, is more open to the ads. The racy promo will appear on billboards and in print magazines throughout the city.

Check out the ad below and judge for yourselves:

But it's not the first racy promo for the fashion-design competition reality show.

For season nine, Klum — who is both host and executive producer of the show — posed for a poster wearing nothing but a snipped-off tie and strategically placed pair of scissors.

For season 10, she appeared in lingerie and heels while lounging atop hundreds of pairs of scissors.

But Klum's latest racy ad isn't the only time Lifetime has had to yank risqué show promos.

"The Client List" star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, revealed on "Conan" in May that she had to tone down the show's billboards for the second season. The first season promos featured a full-body shot of the actress in lingerie, while the second season artwork featured her cut off at the chest.

"It was a bit of a scandal with the first billboards," she admitted.

"They changed the billboard strategy," noted Conan, showing the difference in the below photos.
